Cancellation Charges

At Blue Poppy Resort, we understand that travel plans can be fluid. With your convenience in mind, we’ve updated our cancellation policy to offer more flexibility while ensuring we can accommodate all our guests effectively.

  • More Than 30 Days Before Arrival: For cancellations made more than 50 days prior to the date of arrival, a nominal cancellation fee of 10% of the total booking amount will be charged. This is a reduction from our previous policy, aimed at providing you with greater flexibility.
  • 15 to 30 Days Before Arrival: For cancellations occurring within 30 to 50 days prior to the date of arrival, a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking amount will be charged
  • Less Than 15 Days 7 Days Before Arrival: Understanding that plans can change unexpectedly, for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival, we will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount. Additionally, we will offer the option to apply the remaining 50% as a credit for a future stay within the next 12 months, subject to availability.
  • Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival : Booking is 100% chargeable.

Flexible Rebooking Option:

  • All Reservations: Regardless of when you cancel, we offer the flexibility to rebook your stay with us for a later date, up to 12 months from the original booking date, subject to availability and any difference in rates. This option will be available only after full payment of the booking amount.

Special Circumstances:

  • We understand that there can be exceptional circumstances (such as health emergencies or severe weather conditions) that may force you to alter your travel plans. We encourage guests facing such situations to contact us directly to discuss possible adjustments to their reservations.

Other Important points

  • No refunds are available for early checkouts, and all balances must be settled during check-in.The journey from Haridwar to Auli takes approximately 10-12 hours. Please start your trip by 6:30 am from Haridwar or Rishikesh. Refunds will not be issued for last-minute cancellations resulting in non-arrival.
  • If, for reasons beyond Blue Poppy Resorts’ control, a booking cannot be honored, there will be no refund. However, Blue Poppy can adjust the amount for future bookings within the next year, applicable only for fully paid reservations.
  • There are stairs to climb to reach the resort and senior citizens are part of the trip, kindly contact the management.

  • Kindly note that the remaining amount for your reservation must be settled 15 days before your scheduled check-in date. Blue Poppy Holidays retains the right to cancel the booking if the balance is not paid on time, and the initial advance amount will be forfeited. If your booking is made more than 15 days in advance, you can secure your room by paying a 50% advance. Regardless, the full balance must be cleared before check-in to avoid any inconvenience, as check-in will be regrettably refused otherwise. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth stay.

  • Hot water may not be continuously available, but we will provide hot water in buckets when needed.
  • During a power cut in government supply, the generator will provide electricity only from 7 pm to 10 pm and 6:30 am to 7:30 am. Rooms have inverters installed for lighting.
  • We exclusively serve vegetarian food.
